As a Proposal Specialist, you will collaborate closely with business development, investment teams, and various departments within the investment management business to develop high-quality proposal materials. These materials play a key role in supporting the company’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end process of creating RFPs (Requests for Proposals), DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires), capability documents, and presentations, ensuring timely delivery and high standards.
- Maintain a solid understanding of the company’s systems, teams, products, and processes to create accurate, up-to-date proposal content.
- Ensure that the information databases are well-maintained, precise, and comprehensive.
- Oversee the internal review process for all submissions to guarantee accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Stay informed of JSE compliance requirements and ensure all submissions meet regulatory guidelines.
- Assist the Compliance Officer with compliance-related matters, including legislation, Exchange Rules, Directives, and taxation requirements.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically in a technical support or proposal development role, with exposure to RFPs and DDQs.
- A strong interest in financial markets and investment products across asset classes.
- Excellent project management and writing skills, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
